Hi, I’m Allen. Some people may know me as a YouTuber, a Teacher, a Speaker, or a Writer, but the most important title I have is Faithful Follower of Christ. There is nothing that has so profoundly changed my character or the outcomes of my life than that simple truth.
Through my journey following Christ, I met the greatest love of my life, Jennifer, and had the most amazing gifts of my life, my children, Anaiah and Micah.
Beyond my love for Jesus and for my family, the greatest joy of my life has been the work of Let’s Equip. To be able to pour into the Body of Christ and make disciples is a blessing. When God asked me almost a decade ago, “What would I do with my life, if money wasn’t an issue?” it was as if God was inviting me to know Him more and make Him known. Since that time, this has been my life’s work and my greatest honor.
I love being on this team because I know the impact we are making around the globe for the Kingdom of God. I’m blessed to work with a group of talented Christ followers who are dedicated to our mission of equipping a generation of Believers who will not bow down to another God and who will follow Christ no matter the cost.
When I’m not hard at work creating Bible-based courses or YouTube videos, I’m either with my family, on the golf course, cheering on my favorite sporting teams, or eating dinner with friends.
I’m thankful to be here and I’m thankful you’re here, too.
One of my favorite roles both in Let’s Equip and at home is being the C.E.O (Chief Encouragement Officer). I believe one of my gifts is to see the beauty and talents in others and encourage people in those giftings. That’s what makes working at Let’s Equip extra fun because I am surrounded by a group of dedicated Believers who I can edify and who edify me.
When I’m not at Let’s Equip, Allen and I are probably enjoying fellowship with friends over a meal or chasing our children on a soccer field. I find my personal joy in preparing for our monthly women’s Bible Study, being with my family, cooking a good meal, or dominating (lol) on the tennis court.
Hi, I’m Evelyn. I’m a graphic designer from the great state of South Carolina where I live with my husband, Andres, and our adorably feisty Sheepadoodle, Stokley.
If you’ve ever seen the graphics on Allen’s YouTube videos, or on his eBooks, and course materials, then that’s me. I’m an artist at my core and I love that I get to use my talent to produce graphics that support the Body of Christ.
My favorite thing about being on the Let’s Equip team is that we’ve become like family. We pray together and encourage each other. It’s an amazing feeling when Jesus is what unites a group of people.
When I’m not creating for Let’s Equip, I enjoy sharing Jesus and art on my social media as well as assisting other agencies and small businesses. In my free time, I enjoy trying new restaurants, lifting weights, hiking trails with Stokley, and cooking.
As for me, I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with my husband of twenty years and our two boys, who are 13 and 10. They keep us busy and oh so happy. They are my heart and joy!
My work with Let’s Equip is to support our Community where we have thousands of Christ followers who gather online to discuss theology or culture questions, take courses, attend Allen and Jennifer’s Bible Studies, join us in monthly prayer events, and more. It’s a great group of new and seasoned Believers and it’s a joy to support them in any way I can.
When I’m not working with Let’s Equip, my husband and I are focused on our non-profit, Genuine Family Ministries, where we equip families to stand firm on their faith in this culture. We do that by teaching parents and students to understand the Biblical worldview as well as the framework/thinking of the postmodern worldview, which our culture embraces, so we can discern how the two worldviews conflict. When we are not focused on that, we are watching our boys play basketball, swimming, or playing board games.
One of the other ways I’m able to use my talents at Let’s Equip is to offer technical support to those who register for our courses or our Community and to ensure all operations run smoothly. Over the years, I’ve gotten to pray for or support many people in our Community and at this point it feels like family. I have always had a heart and deep empathy for people and it’s so beautiful to see how God uses it for His glory.
What I love best about working with this team is our mission and that we all have a heart for ministry. It’s a daily team effort to provide the best resources and support for the people we reach with this ministry.
When I’m not working with Let’s Equip, I’m part of a widow’s ministry for young adults, which is near and dear to my heart. We offer support groups, encouragement, and prayers. I also love my garden. So in my freetime, I love growing roses and dahlias, plus spending time with family and friends.
Hi, I’m Levi from the Dallas/Fort Worth area where I live with my beautiful wife Taylor and our two dogs, Roman and Shiloh.
It’s been so great to work with the Let’s Equip ministry and to daily use my talents for video production. I love being creative and it’s a blessing to have a leader like Allen who is always thinking outside the box, too.
When I came to the team, my job was expressly to make our videos even better. So that’s what I focus on day in and day out, because at the end of the day our video content matters to the Body of Christ. We are lifting people up, educating them on God’s word, and bringing awareness to the false doctrines out there. So, making videos that are compelling to watch in a fast-driven social media world is crucial. That’s what motivates me to make sure our videos cut through the clutter so people can hear what’s important.
When I’m not working with Let’s Equip, I’m working on my truck which I feature on YouTube at LM Diesel or enjoying time with my wife and our dogs.
I’m blessed to work on a team where my love for the Lord, creative thinking, and artistry can all come together to edify the Body of Christ.
Working on this team has been such a blessing because we are impacting people around the world and furthering the Gospel through creative content. We also have an amazing team, with God-given talents, which makes it fun, too!
At the end of the day, I’m a music artist at heart. When I’m not working on Let’s Equip, I’m writing, singing, rapping, and producing music. It’s my passion to create art and influence people through Gospel-centered hip-hop and R&B music.
I live in the beautiful state of Tennessee with my wonderful husband, James, and our three amazing children, Sierra, Shyanne, and Jaydon.
My claim to fame is that I keep the Let’s Equip team moving forward, whether that be meeting deadlines or managing logistics. As the Executive Assistant it is my great honor to support the team in whatever way possible and to use my gifts of organization and encouragement in the process.
Our Let’s Equip team is a God-send and I love being part of an organization dedicated to excellence, family time, and reaching people for the Kingdom of God. Best of all, our leaders, Allen & Jennifer, demonstrate what humble Christ-led leadership looks like every day.
When I’m not at Let’s Equip, I’m either spending time with my family and watching them grow in the Lord, sharing my love for health & wellness through Plexus, working at Carmody Piano, or going on daily walks, discovering new coffee shops, or exploring antique stores with my hubby.
